Making Our Voices Heard

Capitol Day is an opportunity to join other members of each Local NAA Michigan Chapter to meet with our State Senators and House of Representatives at our State Capitol in Lansing. Our goal is to discuss how their decisions affect our apartment and property management industry, residents who live at our communities and to let our elected officials know who we are.

Volunteers Needed

We need several volunteers to meet with our elected officials on February 4th. Appointments with legislators will be made throughout the day for you, by each Local Chapter. You will be paired with other Chapter members and provided with materials for another opportunity to make our voices heard and to continue to form valuable relationships with our legislators.

Our Day Begins at 8:00 AM

We will meet our Lobbyist, David Gregory at 8:00 AM in the Kelley Cawthorne offices at 208 N. Capitol Avenue in downtown Lansing. You will have a short training orientation that includes team assignments, location of your meetings, scripts to use for your appointments and informational packets to distribute.
