 M.J. White & Son, Inc. are proud to present a emergency mitigation seminar designed specifically for the multi-family building maintenance professional.  The course will cover all aspects of water, wind, fire, mold, asbestos, odor, vandalism, meth-lab, and human pathogen emergencies.  Hands on use of moisture detection equipment, including thermal imaging cameras, penetrating, and non-penetrating meters is also included.  You will also learn the proper procedures for containment, odor removal, non-invasive drying, and when and how to seek help from a specialist.  The course outline is as follows:

 

water mitigation: how to prevent; how to dry, when to call in a specialist; wind losses: need for quick response, temporary emergency response; fire damages:  board ups, clean-up, temporary electric/furnace, odor, mold remediation: containment; when to test, clean-up, asbestos abatement: State requirements; odor removal: ozone and air scrubber use; removal, vandalism : emergency response; meth lab clean-up: proper clean-up procedures and how to detecthuman pathogens: requirements for clean-up and disposal.
